GlareOne Botis 600 is a 600 Ws flash offering powerful light for professionals, and it also features a 40 W BiColor LED modeling light. Thanks to its efficient Li-Ion battery, the unit can deliver up to 380 full-power flashes on a single charge. Built-in TTL and HSS functions ensure precise exposure in any situation.
Power, efficiency, and technology
GlareOne Botis 600 is a flash unit with a maximum power output of 600 Ws — but it’s not just the number on the housing that defines its performance. What truly matters is the advanced technology built into the device and the design of the flash tube, which allows it to deliver better results than many competing 500 or even 600 Ws models.
The powerful light source performs perfectly in both demanding studio sessions and outdoor shoots, especially when using reflectors, where the light efficiency is up to 1.5 EV* higher compared to lights from other manufacturers. Thanks to its efficient cooling system, the light can extensively be used during dynamic shootings, allowing continuous triggering up to 150 full-power flashes without interruption. The recycling time at maximum output setting is just 0.9 seconds, enabling a fast-paced workflow without missing a single shot.
Light quality
The light is equipped with a large, protruding open flash tube that ensures even light distribution. This makes the Botis 600 work perfectly with various light modifiers such as softboxes, umbrellas, reflectors, snoots, and beauty dishes. The color temperature and light spectrum correspond to natural daylight, ensuring excellent color accuracy and detail reproduction in photos. The light also offers high stability and consistency of flashes. The Botis 600 flash tube is protected by a glass dome that shields it from damage.
Short flash duration
The Botis 600 features a Freeze mode, allowing flash durations from 1/1000 s to 1/27000 s (t0.5). This function is essential for capturing motion with flash photography. The display shows the exact flash duration corresponding to the selected power level. Using the appropriate flash duration ensures sharp images when catching the perfect moment is absolutely critical.
Accessories
The Botis 600 comes as a kit with a reflector, grid, and color filters, allowing for precise light control or creative color effects. A convenient carrying case is also included for safe and easy transport. The Botis 600 features a Bowens-type mount, compatible with a wide range of modifiers and accessories offered by GlareOne as well as many other manufacturers.
Remote control and trigger compatibility
The GlareOne Botis 600 features a SLAVE mode, allowing it to be triggered remotely by other Master devices within the GlareOne flash system. This provides complete freedom in shaping lighting setups on set. The Botis 600 is fully compatible with all GlareOne triggers, making it easy to integrate with other lights from the same brand and ensuring convenient and flexible operation.
Advanced channel and group settings
The GlareOne Botis 600 supports operation in 16 groups and 32 channels, providing a wide range of configuration and control options for multiple lights in various shooting conditions. This allows for precise adjustment of lighting parameters.
HSS and TTL
The light supports High-Speed Sync (HSS), allowing synchronization with extremely short shutter speeds — particularly useful for outdoor shooting and portrait photography with shallow depth of field. The TTL automatic light metering ensures perfect exposure without the need for manual adjustments, making work significantly easier and saving valuable time.
Battery
Thanks to its lithium-ion battery, the GlareOne Botis 600 can deliver up to 380 flashes on a single charge, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance even during intensive photo sessions.
