GlareOne Stork 225 is a heavy-duty, air-cushioned, general purpose studio lights stand equipped with 5/8″ reversible stud, distinguished by it’s high versatility and high quality. This is an ultimate compact light stand for every home and professional studio.
Multifunctional
GlareOne Stork may be used as a support for any sort of lights including compact studio flashes, flashheads, large LED lights and panels, speedlites and more. Thanks to reversible stud equipped with 1/4″-20 and 3/8″ screws you can mount multiple accessories including brackets, clamps and more . When used with GlareOne Kenku 130 arm it can be used as a reflector holder or even a boom stand for small lights. When two stands are available you can mount the crossbar (sold separately) and use them as a mobile background support for any sort of paper or muslin backdrop.
Air-Cushioning
Air-Cushioning makes the stand more user friendly but it’s also an important safety feature. It prevents the light (especially with a large modifier mount on it) from cruising down when locking collars are unlocked. Thanks to air cushioning the fall will be slowed down and the light will gently
High quality materials
The central column and legs are made of anodized aluminium tubes which ensures low weight but at the same time guarantees high stiffness and stability. Locking collars are also made of metal to ensure a good grip and security even after long periods of use. The only non-metal parts are the locking knobs which are made of high quality plastics.
Smart design
Knobs are ergonomically shaped and large enough to ensure good grip and prevent you from pinching your fingers while adjusting height. Tips of the legs are equipped with rubber tips to minimize sliding on the smooth surfaces. Top of the stand is equipped with a head allowing perpendicular mounting of the stud. Legs are ready to be used with separately available wheels for greater comfort of work with large light modifiers.
