The GlareOne Apus 80 S offers a remarkable 80 Ws of power. This is 25% more than standard on-camera flashes from other manufacturers of the same size, making it the most powerful speedlite in its class.
Compatibility
The GlareOne Apus 80 S is only compatible with Sony via the Sony Multi Interface shoe.
Operating modes and remote control
GlareOne Apus 80 S offers MASTER and SLAVE modes. In MASTER mode, it can act as a remote controller for other flashes, allowing you to create an advanced lighting system. On the other hand, in SLAVE mode, it can be triggered by other devices (lamps or transmitters), giving you full flexibility in creating lighting on set. Moreover, thanks to its compatibility with the Canon RT system, the flash offers additional sync and control capabilities for Canon lights.
Trigger Compatibility
The GlareOne Apus 80 S works with all GlareOne triggers, allowing full integration with other GlareOne flash units so it can be freely combined into sets, as well as expand the already existing ones.
Advanced channel and group settings
The GlareOne Apus 80 allows operation in 16 groups and on 32 channels, offering a wide range of configuration and control options over multiple flashes in various conditions.
HSS and TTL
The flash offers synchronization with all shutter speeds (HSS), which is important for outdoor work and portrait photography with shallow depth of field. Additionally, the automatic TTL light measurement provides optimal lighting without the need for manual parameter adjustment, which is convenient and saves time.
Long battery life
Thanks to its rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the GlareOne Apus 80 S flash is capable of performing up to 500 flashes on a single charge, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation, even during intensive photography sessions.
