GlareOne Apus i Botis – battery flashes

High-powered flashes that can be successfully used not only in the studio, but also in the open air. They will perform perfectly even during the most demanding sessions. They are equipped with remote control functions, HSS mode (which allows synchronization with short shutter speeds) and TTL mode, i.e. automatic flash light metering with almost any brand of camera. All this makes the GlareOne Apus and Botis series flashes an excellent choice for photographers who need a reliable and flexible light source while shooting in a variety of conditions.

GlareOne Apus 48 and 80 are compact, classic reporter lights. They feature burners equipped with fresnel lenses. They are available in two versions of 48 and 80 Ws.

GlareOne Botis 80 and 200 have large, round burners of the same design as large studio lamps. As a result, the light coming from the lamp is evenly distributed and works perfectly with accessories such as softboxes and umbrellas. The lamps flash light at daylight temperature and provide full and faithful color reproduction.

Application of GlareOne Apus and Botis lamps

Due to their high power and HSS and TTL functions, the Apus and Botis series lights are perfect for virtually any type of photography, such as wedding photography, reportage, outdoor portraits, sports, interior or culinary photography.

Compatibility

Apus 48 and 80 and Botis 80 lamps are available in two versions – with a universal shoe, compatible with Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Lumix and OM SYSTEM systems, or a shoe for Sony cameras. The Botis 200 lamp works with all systems.

Remote control – Master and Slave modes

GlareOne Apus 48 and 80 and Botis 80 flashes offer MASTER and SLAVE mode operation. In MASTER mode, the lamps can act as a remote controller for other flashes, allowing you to create an advanced lighting system. In SLAVE mode, on the other hand, the lamps can be triggered remotely by other devices, giving you full flexibility in creating lighting on set. In addition, thanks to compatibility with the Canon RT system, the lights offer additional sync and control capabilities for Canon flashes (not applicable to Apus 48/48 S).

Cooperation with transmitters

GlareOne rechargeable flash units work with all GlareOne triggers, allowing them to be easily used with other flash units from the brand, providing convenience and flexibility when working.

Advanced channel and group settings

All Apus and Botis series flashes allow 16 groups and 32 channels, giving you a wide range of configuration and control over multiple flashes in different conditions. This allows you to precisely set lighting parameters.

Reliable flash

The lights are equipped with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which ensure long-lasting and reliable operation, even during intensive photography sessions.

The ability to adjust the flash within a 9-degree aperture range makes it easy to adjust the power of the flash, and the extremely short charging time of the lights allows you to quickly prepare for the next shots, without long downtime during operation.

Polaris and Lynx transmitters

GlareOne Polaris and Lynx are transmitters with a range of up to 100 meters and a 2.4 GHz frequency that ensures stable communication, supporting 6 groups and 32 channels. They support High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000th of a second and TTL support.

With built-in Bluetooth connectivity, the transmitters can be controlled remotely via the GlareOne app, adding convenience and flexibility to your workflow. The app allows easy adjustment of settings and control of the lighting system without direct access to the transmitter.

Both transmitters are available in two versions – with a universal shoe, compatible with Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Lumix and OM SYSTEM systems, or a shoe for Sony cameras.

In addition, the GlareOne Lynx transmitter can also act as a receiver.
